It’s the absolute last day of my period, and I went swimming with no tampon. I only did this because I haven’t seen any blood at all whatsoever today (only a little brown in the morning) and my period normally stops in water. I realized near the end o my time swimming that I shouldn’t have done thsi even though it stopped. Now I’m overly stressed over it. Please help

I did the same thing however, it was the middle of my cycle so it wasn’t very heavy but not really a light flow. I had only seen a little blood all day and I swam without a tampon. Just like you my period “stops” in water. Throughout my swimming time I went to check if there was any blood about 6 times and every time there was none so I’m pretty confident that there wasn’t any in the pool where I swam but I there was could this be bad for the other people who swim, even if I hadn’t seen much blood all day and never saw any sign of any when I checked in the bathroom.

Hi Anon, no harm's been done by your swimming without a tampon but you could do some harm by stressing out over this. Please try to find a way to relax and move on. Hope the rest of your week is better. Pat
