My mom had clear fluid oozing out her ankles only, the MD said to use compression stockings, that only made the wounds worse. We finally took her to a cardiologist - he ran tests, heart was fine, but he said it seemed that the circulation wasn't working properly. He put her on diaretics (water pills) and potassium (to avoid cramps) and we had to monitor that until we got the correct dosage. leg swelling went down, oozing stopped. BUT if she missed even on day of meds, it came back. She was not diabetic, but I thought you might want to hear another situation....good luck!

Hi, Even me suffering from same problem for 4 yrs. Doctor had said me ,it is because of insulin what I was injecting, didn't suited my immune system as hormones change. But after changing replacing Humalog to lantus, still this problem was faced by me. later on I changed the doctor and I was adviced to take other insulin. but still it didn't work.In last 2 years ago I started SB GROUP herbal medication . which not only helped me to clear this problem but also helped me reduce my 28 unit insulin. Now I'm on only glysiphage tablet 2.5mg, that also twice in week.
consult SB GROUP in India.

Hi Anon,

Welcome to EmpowHER.  Sorry to hear this.  Many things can be the cause like his diabetes, Lymphedema is the abnormal buildup of fluid in an arm or leg due to a blockage in the lymphatic system.  It's important for him to see a doctor and explain all his symptoms.
