Earlier today I had a clear discharge that just gushed out and this evening I open my legs and what looked like milk came out. I have never seen anything like it before. What does this mean? Am I pregnant? Am I ovulating? Or is this my vagina's way of cleaning itself? Neither discharge had a smell. My menstrual cycle was just last week and was cut short. I have also been having these short moments of feeling like I am going to start on my cycle as well. Any suggestions about what is going on with my body?

Hi i read some of the posts and it sounds like it might be bacteria in the vagina bv. i recently had this milky discharge no itching no burning just this gush that would come out and it felt like i had just got my period. i thought that i had a yeast infection so i treated it as such .after 3 months since it did not go away. i went to the doctor and they told me i had bacteria in the vagina. i was treated with metronidazle vaginal gel.this made it go away . i also did not have insurance so i went to the health department . i made an appointment in the family planing [i was not on birth control so i did lie and said i was as to the appointment was in family planing] sometimes we would rather not go to the health dept. but it was way cheaper. hope this helps .

I'm 17 and my boyfriend and I have been sexually active together now for over a year. (He has been my ONLY partner, how ever I'm his 3rd.) We do not use protection, but we're not stupid, he's never came inside of me and we make sure that he pulls out very early so I can finish him with either my hand or mouth.
However a few weeks ago (after just getting off my period a week before and this being the third day in a row of having sex), we were having intercourse outside and I noticed in the middle I had been bitten by a bug on part of my arm. It itched like CRAZY and blew up like a balloon. I noticed that later on that night, I was also unfortunate enough to have some of these bites on the right side of my genital area by the lips protecting the vaginal opening. Like the bites on my arm, they were EXTREMELY itchy and they swelled up considerably.
A few days later, I contracted my first yeast infection ever(due to the medication that I had to take for a sinus infection). Very gross stuff, I hope to never get one ever again. I itched so bad that sadly I ended up scratching myself considerably (I was not used to having long nails, for I've bitten then ever since I could fit my fingers in my mouth.) However, I never actually scratched myself, I would rub as to not irritate it as much with the infection. And I had a very yeasty discharge of the stereo typical cottage cheese looking discharge and it almost seemed very bubbly. Along with my vulva swelling up some and the (as stated before) ungodly itching.
After treating the yeast infection and keeping myself clean as best as I can, my pH balance began to become normal once more the bug bites on both my arms and near my vagina had gone away as did the swelling from the infection. (Thank goodness! I have a very bad anxiety to think the worse of everything.) Also, the scratches had healed and everything went back to normal.
Except now, I have noticed that I am still having a white-ish (what I can only think of to describe of as a milk-y looking) discharge. It's odorless and painless. It's not bothersome at all to me really. I just want to know if there are any types of bells or red warning signs that should say that I should go to a doctor to get checked out.
I currently have an app for my phone that helps me keep track of when I have intercourse and to mark when I get my period and such (since the app has STILL been able to accurately track when I'm supposed to get my period and I've had it since October of last year.) This app also shows the week of ovulation and the day that I am supposedly the most fertile. So we try to take every precaution we can as to not get pregnant.
Is there a possibility that I'm pregnant? I'm due for my period soon now for I'm noticing the sexual drive increase and the need to take afternoon naps, craving chocolate and sweets, the very drastic moodiness that I always get, and the abdominal pain that I get from cramping. (But I've also noticed that a lot of my PMS symptoms are identical to those of being pregnant.)
My mother does not know that I am sexually active and I'd prefer to keep it that way, but my health of my body is more important than that of my pride. Thank you for taking the time to read and respond!

I like how you follow up the "we're not stupid" statement by telling us how you practice unsafe sex. Pulling out can still get you pregnant, because precum (which most guys leak when they're excited) has sperm, which (oh my God, here it comes) can get you pregnant. I really do hope you're not pregnant -- you do not need be be breeding yet.

These are signs of Leukorrhea:
What does it mean? http://www.justmommies.com/pregnancy/first-trimester/leukorrhea-what-it-what-does-it-mean
Leukorrhea is caused by an increase in hormone levels, particularly estrogen, that cause excessive secretions from the cervical glands. These secretions help to clean your vaginal area, so even if they are uncomfortable, they are a sign that your body is doing what it needs to stay healthy

Hi Ladies I'm back, I was here few months ago reading and sharing my experience. Back in February I started with the milky watery discharge, and a burning sensation. I went to my obg I had all kind of tests done (pap, swaps, std, etc and everything came out ok) At the beginning they told me it was a bacterial infection, started to take antibiotics (only for three days) because they called me to let me know it was a yeast infection, I did the treatment, the result = the watery milky discharge was still there.. I went to the dr, three more times and nothing, after I read on the Internet I found out about hormonal and ph changes, I went and I talked to my dr.. about that and I was right. Ladies, hormonal changes due to age, or imbalance of the ph down there due to allergies to lubricants, condoms, pads could affect the normal bacteria of your vagina, and it will increase the reproduction of good or bad bacteria, in my case it was the good bacteria, way to much! My dr. prescribed a lubricant called LUVENA prebiotic to help to balance the ph, you can buy it over the counter, it helped me, few days later the white watery discharge, and the discomfort were gone, still when I feel a weird sensation down there I use it just to keep the area under control, but I'm very happy now.

Hey guys - I just wanted to provide a little closure here (so many sites, the question is asked and then no one knows what happened in the end!).
I took a Pap, and it turns out I was having some cervical inflammation - no biggie. They said there are suppositories generally used to treat that, but my discharge has already subsided (it took a long time for the results to come back), thank God, so I guess my immune system already took care of it.
So if you're having mysterious discharge, go in for an exam - it could be you just need some meds.
