Has anyone tried the new Jillian Michaels QuickStart Rapid weight loss program, Maximum strenght fat burner pills, or the Thincare international Jillian Michaels maximum strenght calorie control tablets, or the triple process body detox and clense. If so could you tell me is it safe and is it worth the money?

May 15, 2010 - 4:36amI see that you have pcos..my daughter also has that, and has had no luck in losing the weight. I was wondering if you are taking metformin and birth control to treat this. I ask b/c my daughter has to take these med.s so she has to be careful what she takes w/ them. Are these diet pills safe to take w/ these meds and does it make you feel sick or 'strange' in any way?

Please try GTF-Chromium. It must be GTF-Chromium. I struggled and struggled for years with PCOS and Insulin REsistance the only thing that made the scale move was this. My Doc first put me on Metfomin and then I lost my health insurance and he is having me take GTF-Chromium. I have actually lost more weight on the Chromium than on the prescription. Please take the time to google Insulin resistance and PCOS. You will be amazed at the things you read. I love Jillian Micheals but do not generally subscribe to supplementation for hunger control because they only work until your body get used to it. I do however believe in vitamin supplementation and what it is has done for me. All that being said I do not know what it is her supplement so can not say whether it vitamin supplementation or caffeine stimulation. I have 63 pounds in three months once my insulin levels were under controlled. Some days I eat 2000 calories sometimes I eat 900 but for me it all came down to blood sugar and it's effect on my body.

I also have PCOS. I tried the Supplements for 2 weeks as well. I didn't loose a pound. I excersise 60 minutes 5 mornings a week. Eat between 900-1200 calories a day. I still way more than I should. The pills didn't work for me.

I just want to comment on this post even though it's old, for others who may read it. If you over-train and eat too few calories your body will go into starvation mode and you can actually gain weight even though you are working out. I've been tracking everything I eat, drink, how much sleep I get and when I exercise and I recommend doing this as well. For example, I noticed when I don't drink enough water I gain 3 pounds overnight. If I don't get enough sleep, I also gain weight. Too much coffee, ditto. If I even have one piece of white bread, the pounds come back on. Every body is different so you want to look at factors like sleep as well (sleep is extremely important for weight loss because of the impact stress hormones have on the body).
April 28, 2011 - 9:50amI have not tried Jillian's products, and of course they are supposed to be supporting other healthy lifestyle habits like good nutrition and exercise. And if all else fails, you've tried everything and have adequate caloric intake and not over-training, go see an endocrinologist to rule out the role of hormones. Just my 2 cents.
