I got my period after taking Plan B pills even though I just had my period 3 days before.

Well she is now telling me wich makes me a little mad that it wasnt heavy actually it was just like a regualr period or maybe lighter, but stilllasted about 1 week and 1/2 or 2 weeks and she still feels sick but not horibly sick and her cramps are gone and her next period is coming up in about 10 days.. I am just very scared plz reply on possible anwsers for whats going on

There is no way that your girlfriend could be pregnant if she had a heavy menstrual flow for two weeks. Back, stomach and breast pain are not symptoms of early pregnancy.

You both need to stop stressing over a possible pregnancy. I strongly suggest that your girlfriend schedules an appointment with her gynecologist or visit a women's health clinic to discuss and obtain some type of birth control. Any emergency contraceptive, such as Plan B, is effective in preventing an unwanted pregnancy, but is not intended to be used as a regular type of birth control.

Maryann, thanks for the quick reply and yes, we had sen on march 18(i think) around 6 pm she took the pill the next day at 2:30pm and the next well lets say i let her sleep but i had too wake her up at 2:30 so yes she took them 12 hours apart and her period started on the 9 and lasted that long but she is still having pregnancy sympoms im just scared but that last comment eased my mind a little.. Please reply quick again ill need the help..

Did your girlfriend take Next Choice within 72 hours of unprotected sex? If so, then a pregnancy was prevented and it is not likely that your girlfriend would be having a miscarriage. The long and very heavy flow was most likely a side effect of Next Choice.

If she continues to have symptoms, she should consult her physician. Anemia is a concern if the flow continues to be heavy and prolonged.

Hi, my name is andrew, my girl is having the same problem. Period on time but lasted about 2 weeks very heavy flow and bad cramps.. Is this normal for next choice? She had that period 2 weeks ago also on the ninth(weird that her normal day to) and now she is experiences back and stomach pains and a little bit of breast pain.. Is this normal? Ive also read that maybe the heavier flow was because she was having an early misscararage? Please reply asas i need help and need to ease my mind!...

I took the pill and had my period on the right day but it lasted about 1 and a half weeks did the pill work?

Ok so I had unprotected sex but he pulled out before he came and this all happened last week on wedsnesday around 3pm and then the next morning st 6:30am took plan b...and now, April 16 I'm getting a period again....I know I possibly can't be pregnant. But I'm probably over worried about this..should I take a test in 2 weeks from thursday? I really don't wanna be pregnant. I can't afford taking care of a baby I can't barely take care of myself n my mommy. Thanks any help would be good

i had sex last night at around 7 pm and the condom broke, i am on bc but i'm on the sugar pills this week so i have no idea how protected i was so i got the morning after pill and took it at about 830 am today, i had side affects at about 230 feeling sick in my stomach and dizzy... can someone please give me some insight on if they think i'll be pregnant or not, i'm really worried because i read a buch of fail stories but the reduction is 95% within 24 hours, im just worried... i am suppose to get my period this week.. if im pregnant wil it most defnitely not come? and when should i be worried... help ahh!
