Hi im not sure if u can help but asked my doctor what my blood sugar levels was and he said it was 6.5 in december and today i only had toast with nothing on it and it was 9.5 so spoke to him again about it and he said its normal but i looked it up on the actual diabetes website and it says type one diabetes 90 minutes after eating up to 9 but hes still saying its normal so what should i do

Yea i use the accu-check to keep an eye on my blood sugars and no i havent been diagnosed with diabetes but im wondering why my blood sugar is 9.5

Welcome again to EmpowHER. I remember speaking with you a few months ago about your concerns regarding elevated blood sugar levels.
Have you been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes? Do you check your blood sugar levels with a fingerstick and glucose monitor? Are you taking any medication to control the diabetes? Do you follow a special diet?
I do not know what you are using as a reference, that is the fingerstick strip and normal range, so I would say accept your physician's reply that a reading of 9.5 is normal for you.
