There is a great deal of discourtesy in the world today and a lot of that I find at the gym.
1. The people (usually women) who jump on the cardio machines next to you and continue to talk and talk and talk. Even with the iPod on, it is constant droning and the makings of a headache - definitely not a relaxing workout.
2. The people (usually guys) who don't know how to run and get on a treadmill anyway, sounding like a herd of rhinos.
3. The EXTRA clean people who in an effort to clean the machine they used for 30 seconds, take the spray bottle and spray into the air instead of a paper towel. Thank God that many gyms don't use toxic chemicals any more.
YESTERDAY - I was disgusted to have to look at a guy who just had to take his shirt off on the treadmill - it wasn't even that warm in the a/c'c gym.
I agree with the guy about the leerers in the locker room - that's why I prefer to shower at home. I actually cancelled a membership at a gym because of harassment in the shower from more than a couple of guys.
