I think I might have a solution worth trying.
You all hit the right cause: Sunlight, but didn't focus on light as much as you did on heat. I think heat and dehydration contributes to the headache but its the bright sunlight that could trigger the pain more rapidly.
Have you noticed that when you feel your eyelids (with your eyes closed) with your fingers during the attack, it hurts. The pain seem to be radiating from eyelid to the head.
If your symptom matches this (or if you get migraine when you go outside in a sunny day), my suggestion is to wear a good shades/sunglasses, before you even go outside. Try not to expose your eyes to the bright light, wearing sunscreen in your face might help too.
Worth trying.
