Many people prefer bottled water because of either perceived inadequacies of municipal water supplies (even though many brands of bottled water come from those same municipal water supplies) or conveneince.
We might be doing ourselves and our environment a favor by purchasing an aluminum bottle to carry our own drinks in and refill. Sports drinks, flavored waters and bottled waters are mostly just an excuse for companies to get another dollar out of a consumer at checkout. Save your money and save the planet at the same time!
