I can give you some general information about what this might be. Most of the time, vaginal discharge is normal. The amount can vary, as can odor and color which can range from clear to a milky white, depending on the time in your menstrual cycle. For example, there will be more discharge when you're ovulating, breastfeeding, or sexually aroused.

A thick, white, cheesy-looking discharge may be caused by a yeast infection which is easily treated by over the counter anti-fungal creams or suppositories or a single-dose pill with fluconazole (an antifungal medicine) prescribed by your doctor.
