STDs are spread through contact with infected body fluids such as blood, vaginal fluids, or semen. They can also be spread through contact with infected skin or mucous membranes, such as sores in the mouth.

Although kissing is considered to be low-risk when compared to intercourse, anal, and oral sex, it’s possible for kissing to transmit CMV (cytomegalovirus), herpes, and syphilis. But again, kissing is a low-risk activity as is fingering.

Is there some reason you think you may have an STD? If so, see your doctor.
