Bad smelling urine can mean many things. People who eat foods that smell strongly or a food like asparagus can have urine with a foul odor. An undiagnosed sexually transmitted infection (STI) or urinary tract infection (UTI)can cause this too. People can have undiagnosed STI's for years. STIs and UTI's can also cause cloudy urine.
People with kidney stones or diabetes can also experience cloudy and bad smelling urine.
See your doctor to discuss this, he/she may want to do a urinalysis to see if there is a problem.
