If you can take them, anti-inflammatory analgesics such as Ibuprofen are the best for a toothache as the pain is usually caused by swelling/inflammation. Icing your cheek and topical pain medication such as Ambosol may also help. You will need to find out the cause of your tooth pain by seeing a dentist.
