Susan... thank you for you reply and comments.
it is difficult to get any comments from a ankle fusion patience.
Currently i have decided to wait it out. I have no cartilage and the surgeon has given me 2 option(s)
ankle replacement or fusion. i"ve decided to live within my means. i got off work and the daily grind my ankle couldn't take. My activity
( extremely important ) is swimming and the use of elliptical.
I have spoken to a person with a ankle replacement and determine its not for me as iam too active. So understanding the limitations and life style of a ankle fusion patience is vital.
thanks so much as i struggled to find anyone living with this. is there anyone i could talk to that is living with a fused ankle?
really appreciate your reply as i continue to downgrade my activity with this annoying problem
Kind regards
Doug
