HERWriter Guide

Hello Anon

Thank you for writing.

For the benefit of our readers, Addison's disease is a rare disorder of the adrenal glands. In the case of Addision's, the glands do not produce enough of the hormones cortisol and aldosterone.

You are referring to a bun/creatine test which is the blood urea nitrogen test to see where your levels are. These levels determine the health of the kidneys. A normal BUN-to-creatinine ratio is between 10 to 1 and 20 to 1. If your levels are high which may indicate internal damage such as liver/kidney or other areas for the body.
Please talk to your doctor about your concerns.
Best,
Susan
