Does eating the gluten make you ill when you do? If so, then you shouldn't eat it. Only you know how it affects you - if you can tolerate it in small amounts or occasionally.
As long as you are having your periods fairly regularly, the fact that they are lighter or slightly delayed is not concerning. Talk to your doctor if you are still worried about your menstrual flow or if you frequently have lighter flows or miss several periods.
