To increase your chances of pregnancy, have sex every other day from about days 10 to days 18 or so, as sperm lives in a woman's body for up to 5 days.
Since you are late, there is still a chance of pregnancy. Some women don't show up pregnant on urine tests straight away. My advice is to test again in a couple of days and if negative again, you may just be late. An alternative is to get blood test at your doctor's office which will let you know immediately.
