By BC I'll assume you mean the pill. There is only about a 1% risk of pregnancy when on the pill and having full intercourse so the risk is very small. Using other methods in addition to the pill (pulling out, condoms, etc) brings that to zero, in essence. So, you are certainly doing all you can to prevent pregnancy.
