So obviously I'm very late and by now you either found out what the problem is or it healed up on its own, but Imma say this in case someone else comes on here having the same issue. Unless the nose bleed itself is a sign of an underlying problem and not just dry air or irritation to the nose, all of this is harmless. It is likely that the blood from the nose bleed poured back into the sinuses and down into the throat, which in turn was coughed back up.
