Hello, my 82 yr old Mother was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a few days ago. As soon as she found out there was a tumor and all the blood work and scans proved it she said she wanted no treatments at all of any kind. Her weight had dropped to 87lbs but has since come up a few lbs with medication. She sleeps most of the and still feels exhausted. She will eat very little but has been drinking ensure 3 times a day. Her dr referred us to hospice and they are coming tomorrow. I guess my question is, what should I look for, and his long does anyone think she has. Along with the cancer she also has very bad lung disease, she was never a smoker. My mind is just going in circles and I feel so heart broken, I am hoping that someone hear can help guide me.
