OK, as someone who has been dealing with ovarian cancer for over 10 years and is on a plant based diet, I find this article kind of far fetched. First of all, they can't diagnose a tumor as cancer unless they biopsy it. If she was actually diagnosed with ovarian cancer, the doctors wouldn't put her on morphine, they'd remove the tumor. The rest of the story just falls apart. If her lungs are failing, no one is going to suggest chemo. And why does she have to beg for the reports on her own test results? Honestly, this is just silly.
Now, that said, I am on a whole foods plant based diet and I support it fully. I even credit my success in dealing with chemo and surgeries due in great part to my diet. But stories like this make me cringe.
