Dear Anon,

Thank you for visiting the EmpowHER community and for sharing your question. Taking the iPill can cause your period to be irregular and it is completely common that you had a period again.

A normal cycle is considered anywhere between 21 and 35 days, the average is about 28 days so technically your next period would arrive on February 23rd if you have a 28 day cycle.

Be aware that having taken the iPill can change your cycle for 2-3 months before it becomes regular again.

If you took the iPill correctly, most likely you are not pregnant.

The best way to know if you are pregnant is to take a pregnancy test. Nobody can tell you over the Internet if you are pregnant or not, all we can do is let you know the risks, based on the information you have given us. Again, your own situation will vary and we cannot give you a definitive answer.  A pregnancy test can be taken 10-14 days after unprotected sex and when taken correctly, will certainly be accurate by the time your period is due.

Anon, hope this helps.
Best,
Kristin
