Hello Being Positive, Thank you for sharing your experience! I'm very glad for you that all went well, and hope you are in the pink of health now, more than one year after your laparoscopic myomectomy. I am also considering this procedure to remove my subserosal leiomyoma from my retroverted uterus - the fibroid measures 6.5 x 6.1 x 6.1 cm. I would like to know, since your fibroid was rather large, did the doctor remove it by cutting it up into smaller pieces first? or was a morcellator of some kind used? I have heard about the risk of spreading cancerous cells (although highly unlikely chance of 1-2%) if pathology finds cancer. Or was your fibroid removed in one piece?
Thank you in advance for your reply.
