I'm very glad for you that all went well, and hope you are in the pink of health now, more than one year after your laparoscopic myomectomy. I am also considering this procedure to remove my subserosal leiomyoma from my retroverted uterus - the fibroid measures 6.5 x 6.1 x 6.1 cm. I would like to know, since your fibroid was rather large, did the doctor remove it by cutting it up into smaller pieces first? or was a morcellator of some kind used? I have heard about the risk of spreading cancerous cells (although highly unlikely chance of 1-2%) if pathology finds cancer. Or was your fibroid removed in one piece?
