A UTI is a urinary tract infection that can happen at any time. It is a build up of bacteria and if you hold your urine too long, this could be a reason it occurs. To be certain, go to your physician to have your urine examined.
You can also flush out your bladder with lots of water and cranberry juice which can usually do the trick.
