Hi Anon,

Ideally, any pregnancy test should be taken once your period is actually late for the most accurate results. However, 26 days after having unprotected sex is enough time to see a rise in HCG. In early pregnancy, HCG levels start to rise fast and are at least about 25-50-- yours were at 2 and it needs to be at 5 for a positive test. This Indicates that you are not pregnant. If you still have reason to believe that you may be pregnant, you can take a urine test at home one week after your period is late.
