Well unless you treat head lice in your Salon-you should turn away anyone that comes in with head lice. Lice can infect your other clients and your staff so you must be careful about working with clients who have lice.

What you can do is carry lice prevention and lice treatment products in your Salon. Lice outbreaks occurr a few times a year so it will bring new customers into your Salon who may just come in to buy the products but apon seeing your Salon and your services they may come back to make an appointment. This happens to me all the time, I own a Salon in the New Jersey Central area and I have parents running in all the time (from all over NJ/PA/NYC) buying Fairy Tales Hair Care products-they make an all natural lice treatment called Lice Goodbye and they also have lice prevention products called Rosemary Repel. Parent's need this stuff right away because they need to get rid of the lice ASAP and are willing to pay the price.

In turn, having these products available in my Salon has brought a whole new list of clients to my Salon. I may even consider nit picking in the future. But for now ill stick to selling their products. You WILL NOT go wrong with having these products in your SALON-and the products WILL fly off the shelfs. I've had to make two large orders in the past three weeks and I have people on a waiting list. It is definitley something to consider.
