As Alison stated, all birth control pills are just as effective as the next. According to the Planned Parenthood website, the only thing that could make a birth control pill less effective is if the person taking it is obese. There also are considerations for whether you are on a combination pill or a progesterone-only pill (which I don't think you are). Combination pill has shown to be more effective for most women. It also helps if you take it regularly and at the same time every day. As Alison also said, since you are "doubling up" on your birth control using two methods (pill and withdrawal), you are safe.
