I'm a sixteen year old with asperger syndrome. Over the years I have spent a lot of time trying to learn and understand how to be the so call "normal" in my daily life, cause I absolutely hate attention. For the last 4 years, I've tried my hardest to reflect, change my ways, and try to understand what common people think and do. And after these 4 years, I've suddenly felt unwell, and through multiple check ups. This was the very first time I was informed I had Asperger's syndrome, and the cause of my problems- Anxiety disorder, caused by overstress, most likely due to social interaction. Most people do not know how much aspie's wish they can function like everyone else, because even if the label is an excuse, and no one can get along with me, at least I chose to live that way. But that isn't the case, we were born with it and have no choice but to deal with it. Aspie's tend to say what's on their mind, nothing about passively offending anyone or trying to hurt other people's feelings, that's just what common people try to interpret out of it, it's just human nature having its way and clashing with each other, what is there to fabricate here. We may be of the same species, wearing the same skin, born with the same bones, but only if our minds were anywhere similar.
