I so appreciate you writing. Your experiences are so valuable, and you're right, you have been through a lot at 32!
Many women come here because they don't have friends or family that they feel they can share with. Think of yourself at 16, 17, or 18, before you had the experiences you have now. I'm sure there were some uncertain times.
Older women are often in the middle of a relationship that started out going well but got off track somewhere along the line, and they want to just write it all out and see what someone else thinks. Many times, we find that the writing it all out is one of the most important things they do. It helps them express themselves and often gives them a clearer picture of what they are dealing with even before anyone else writes back.
And I think the most valuable thing women find when they come here is that they are not alone. Whether they are dealing with sexual issues, relationship troubles, health questions or family problems, it helps to find out that others understand, have been where you are and can say, "You can do it, too."
Learning to sit back and stay rational is HUGE. You are right. But it takes a while to learn that, yes?
