I don't think your period stopped for either reason.
The inactive pill has no active hormone in it. It is nothing more than a "sugar" pill. It is in the pack only to keep you on schedule or to remember to take one pill each day.
It is not likely that you are pregnant, so I don't think you experienced implantation bleeding.
Continue to take your birth control pills, one each day and at the same time each day.
You can check with your doctor or wait and see what happens with your period next month.
