So far the docs haven't even considered that the trauma may have accelerated the arthritis. As there is legal involvement due to the accident I think it is something which should be considered as I had absolutely no problem with my hip prior to the accident. It's an absolute nightmare as I have issues with my right shoulder, knee and wrist as consequences too.
