Hi everyone... Thank goodness for this site :)
It's helped immensely reading all of these comments. I've had this PR for about a week now, I had my herald spot under my armpit about 2-3 days before the rest of my rash emerged. I went to the doc yesterday and she diagnosed me with PR but I knew already from Internet research. She told me to take Zantac along with benedryl so I went out last night and got my mess, head & shoulders and calamine lotion, also some aveeno lotion.
The head & shoulders seemed to sooth me...but the aveeno set me on fire... It also stayed sticky and oily on my skin. I took a benedryl to help me sleep and about an hour after falling asleep, I woke up just stinging. So I got in the shower again and washed off the aveeno and coated myself in calamine.
This has been pretty rough so far and I'm not looking forward to 6-8 weeks of this.
I feel for all of you that are having to deal with this and wish you all the best x
