I'm glad you're going to make an appointment and ask for the test. It sounds like you are a wonderful advocate for your children, and now you need to do that for yourself!
It may not be your heart at all. Perhaps you have compressed nerve in your back from a disc that's slightly out of place; that can also cause numbness and pain that radiates down the arm. But whatever the case is, you need to know and you need to know what could be done to treat it.
