My daughter was a competitive dancer. At 13 we discovered she has pars fractures at the L5-S1 level measuring 5-6mm, disc degeneration, anterolisthesis, bilateral spondylolysis, and disc bulge. The disc is dark in color but is for the most part functioning normally. Her activity level has been greatly impacted and her pain can sometimes keep her from school because of all the sitting. We've done PT, rested, PRP and stem cell treatments. There has been no change. Through my research it has been difficult to find other young people who suffer from this type of injury, let alone anyone who can offer any hope of healing. We are back in PT to strengthen her core. Have any of you learned of any new treatments out there?
