There is currently medical research for treatments using leptin to help people stabilize their weight. There seems to be conflicting results on how to use leptin effectively. It seems to only be effects for certain segments of the population. In short, their are companies that are working on treatments and I'm sure they will figure an effect way to use it in the future!
