I had the procedure done in Feb. of this year. I started a few days after the procedure as well and had a normal period. The first 3 periods after the procedure were just as heavy as they had always been. The 4th period was much lighter but lasted as many days as before. I just started again and so far it is light as well. I am hoping that as time goes, they will get less and less. I had hoped not to have a period at all, but I am happy that they are not as heavy as before. I use to have to wear super plus tampoms along with a pad. Now, I can pretty much get by with regular tampons for most of the period.
