I had the "her option" procedure done yesterday. The actual procedure went great. No pain or cramping till it was over and done. I arrived at my Dr's office at 1 to get medicated which was 10 mg Valium and a shot of toradol. Then waited almost an he to start so the meds could kick in. While waiting I had to drink a huge glass of water to fill my bladder for the ultrasound part. Them pushing on my full bladder was the most uncomfortable for me. As of today just watery ,slightly bloody discharge and mild cramping. I was given naproxen for cramps at home and it does help. I'm only 33 but couldn't take the heavy periods anymore. Birth control pill didn't help my flow at all. I really hope this works to lessen or completely rid my periods.
