Hi Pat,
This is very true. We all have different perceptions and life experiences and one thing is for sure, even if you and I are looking at a same objects, our perceptions are completely different. There is no certainty that two people will perceive the same thing in any given situation.
I think sometimes people just need to be heard and comforted when we are in difficult situations. I will agree with the idea that we shouldn't run our own stories at times. Listening can be priceless. Thanks for the share.
