Well, it's entirely up to her. Most women who get pregnant while on birth control don't find out until after the fact and their babies are fine. However, if you don't want to take the risk she can stop taking them this month and resume if and when she gets her period but you will have to use condoms or another form of birth control in the meantime (or you can continue trying to conceive this month :-))
Birth control pills will not give you a false read on a pregnancy test. Once she does miss her period, she can take a pregnancy test.
