I'm sorry you're in such pain. You didn't say how athletic you are, though, and some sports can aggravate the joints.
Arthritis is a condition that can strike at any age; but, we do tend to think of it as "reserved" for the aging. However, juvenile arthritis does exist.
Joint pain can be an indicator of arthritis, but you should consult your doctor, who may refer you to a rheumatologist if deemed necessary.
