If you need to take Advil or whatever to get through the day, do what you need to do to be comfortable and take the best care of yourself you can. I had to wait a week to get mine out and it was one of the longest weeks... I'm sorry you have to wait to get it removed. Is there a way to keep calling in and hope for a cancelation opening?

Thinking ahead, if you are able to work with a female hormone specialist, you might want to since you've been on the IUD for so long - in case you have a really low low coming off of it. They can help you know in advance what to expect so highs and lows don't cause alarm.

Best of Luck.
