So this was my post from a few days ago...

"I'm glad I found this post!! I got my IUD insterted in a week and a half ago. I've been having chest pain ever since. It's scary! I went to the ER last night to have it checked out (I have also had 2 open-heart surgeries in the past - valve replacement). While I was in the ER, my heart rate got down to 45 bpm (Not normal for me). But I had no bad symptoms due to that. The doctors told me that everything was perfectly fine and that there was nothing wrong. They said I had anxiety. I might get it removed."

On November 7, 2014 I got my IUD removed. I had talked to my Cardiologist and my OBGYN. They kept telling me that there is no relation to the IUD and chest pain/slow heart rate. Well, I can say this... three days later after getting that thing removed, I have no more slow heart rate AND not near as much chest pain or heart palpitations as when I had the IUD in! It was also making me moody. My OBGYN said "There's less than 8% Progesterone in it and the majority of it stays in your uterus." It's MY body and I KNOW that this IUD caused me to have a slow heart rate, bad chest pain, and heart palpitations! Plus feeling moody and burning pain on my right ovarie! I actually had this same Mirena IUD in me for 4 years a while back ago and I was fine. But this time, I wasn't. That's another thing that my OBGYN said, "Some people that get it put in the second time, do different than the first time or vise-versa." No more IUD for me!!
