I only had my paragard in for 2 full months, and started having multiple heart palpitations that would last all evening long for days on end. So bad that I went to see a cardiologist, wore a Holter monitor, had blood work done, echocardiogram, EKG. Everything came back normal, except the monitor showed I was having PVC's. I was told maybe I'm stressed or anxious. Nothing in my life changed except for having an IUD put in. I decided to have to it removed. Literally 3 days after removal I noticed I was having as many palpitations. A week later even less. Now it is one full month later, and they are completely gone. It can't be a coincidence. Even my energy level is back to normal, whereas I felt sluggish, and my belly is not bloated. I work in the medical field as an RN, and asked doctors I work with if it was possible to have these problems with the IUD, and they all said no. I know what my body experienced and how it feels now. Sometimes you just have to go on your own instinct and do what you think is right for you. I'm so glad I did, and feel like me again. : )
