I had the Mirena put in April of this year, shortly after I had a lot of issues of heart, dizziness, nausea, pain from the IUD, headaches, non stop bleeding, and in June it put me in the ER. I thought I was having a Stroke, I lost feeling in my whole left side, then the right side started. They did a full check and couldn't find anything else that could of caused, I was perfectly healthy and fine (no issues minus my occasion allergies) when I was in the same hospital in March for giving birth to my daughter. I had the thing removed 2 days after my ER visit. Since then... I had a full neurological work up and everything is fine. However, I have now have low blood pressure, heart palpitations, and nausea since this thing was removed. I now also have horrible cramping (which I have never had before), excessive bleeding every month, plus occasionally the other issues still pop up (But not nearly as bad as before). I regret putting the thing in, I have had more medical problems since this thing was put in me. Worse part is I had to pay in full for the thing to be put in, and removed. I honestly hope no one asks me if they should get one. I would rather risk having a 3rd child back to back over having the thing in me. I can't even try any other things, I.E. the pill and shot, because of all my NEW medical issues.
