After some research about the side effects of the IUD there doesn't appear to be a coorelation although I would certainly follow up with your treating physician. Heart attacks are not that uncommon amoung women. Heart attacks are the leading cause of death at the present time. Stress, obesity and so forth are the main causes of heart issues and heart disease. Perhaps, there is another underlying reason for the heart attack.
