There is no chance that you could be pregnant. First, you were having your period. You can only conceive if you have unprotected sex when you are ovulating. Ovulation occurs about 14 days before the start of the menstrual flow. Ovulation is when an ovary releases an egg. Second, you were wearing a tampon when your boyfriend attempted to insert his penis. The tampon would block any sperm (if there were any released) from entering your vagina.
