Found this thread while looking for my symptoms.

I am a male, and in my case, the skin is sticky when it is moist. Not when wet, and not when dry, but only when moist. And, it's in my groin area.. I have tried everything I can think of -- anti-fungal powder & cream, tea tree oil, and vitamin E oil. Doctor said it may just be my natural skin oils, but I don't agree, considering it gets sticky even right after a shower.

Any other men with similar conditions?
