Hey everyone, happy holidays! Thanks for all of the great updates. Diane, I'm so glad you are trying to get some answers from your doctor. I like the idea of trying Vitamin E, it's worth a shot. Let me know how your lab results go when you find out! I'm doing fine with the probiotics, and so far I haven't had an allergic reaction. I'm taking Florajen, it's dairy free and I bought it at Whole Foods. I'm sure it's helping, but I think it's going to be a slow process to get my gut back in balance. Thanks for mentioning that corn has microtoxins in it, I had no idea. I was eating it all the time at Chipotle for lunch, but it seems that it's feeding the yeast problem. I was trying to find 'Know the Cause' on my cable network, but I don't think we have it, bummer!
Sorry I've been MIA, but I found out that the staph infection I'm dealing with is MRSA. I had no idea as it's been overlooked by the lab, and the reports only stated Staph Aureus. I know people can have it and it doesn't cause problems, but I also know it can be life threatening. I'm trying not to panic and do everything I can to strengthen my immune system. I'm going to give myself a break from antibiotics and try to fight off this BUG naturally by taking garlic supplements, and incorporating herbs like cinnamin, thyme & basil into my diet. My doctor just ordered an all natural 7-day detox kit for me called NutriClean. He said it works really well for his patients as it removes harmful toxins from your body. He said antibiotics haven't been able to fully work in my system because of toxic metals (such as Barium & Gadolinium contrast metals from an MRI & CT Scan that I had) & yeast toxins, etc. have been getting in the way for the medication to fully absorb. In my 'Bible Cure for Candida Book', the doctor recommends doing a detox. I looked at some of the ingredients in NutriClean, and they are exactly the same as what the Candida book says to take so I think I'm on the right path, yea!
I now wonder if MRSA could be an underlying cause of my sticky skin or if it's mainly my initial theory of a yeast allergy?? I'm really not sure as I'm dealing with both issues. This is such a long journey, but I'm learning a lot. I can't wait for all of us to get some relief from our health issues and sticky skin. We deserve it!
