Hello This is Diane. Had my follow up appt with dermatologist. I confessed to him I did not use Epiceram Creamhe wanted me to use. Told Dr I want to know the cause of the stickiness and not apply lotion the rest of my life. He claims Vitamin E pill 800mg once a day helps his patients who have sticky skin caused by medication they are on and feels if it helps them, it will also take stickiness away from me. He also ordered more blood tests; results pending (I just went yesterday to lab). He is leaving no stone unturned. He seems genuinely concerned and was going to reach out to other colleagues asking if they know why this occurs in people not on medication. He has not gotten back to me so I am thinking maybe he got side tracked and forgot to inquire or his colleagues are also stumped. I will ask again when I return for my next appt. In the meantime I guess the vitamin E is not a bad idea. "Stickymess" how are you doing on the probiotics??? Update when you get a moment. Regards to all you fellow sufferers.
