Hi sticky mess this is Diane. I have a few health issues. I do have thyroid nodules (2 solid and 3 cysts bilaterally). TSH levels are always normal. Will be seeing endocrinologist in a few weeks for follow up. I have NOT had a soda in 15 years due to a bad reaction from sodium benzoate content in soda so I only drink bottled drinking water labeled poland spring. This means NO tea, coffee, juice, lemonade, nothing but water. My lips have recently become sticky also so I know how you feel. I apply lipstick during the day to ease the problem. I do eat a lot of baked products e.g.(bread, cookies, pie, cake) so yeast, as a cause, may be right on the mark. What else is there to eat if I eliminate bread, flour and pasta?? Im not a big fan of meat. I wont go near fish because of the iodine content, or mercury, etc. and the effect it could have on my thyroid so that leaves me with chicken and vegetables if i choose to forsake the yeast foods. I went to my cardiologist yesterday and told him about the stickiness and he never heard of such a thing. Like I said I am pending an endocrine appointment and sometime in November I am going to the dermatologist. In the meantime the stickiness could get better I hope! The underarm stickiness did improve with the change to the Sure deodorant. Hoping the way this came is the way it's going to go. I am a bit frustrated that no one in my close circle of associates is experiencing this. It's the people on this thread that give me a sense of hope. My daughter is not bothered by her stickiness and never brings it up. Its a non issue to her. My husband doesnt have any stickiness. Go figure! I will tho, be looking into the vitamin A in my diet to see if that is my particular case thanks to you pointing that out. Will update regularly. Please Keep the faith..
